Alpha Academy Against Street Profits Set For SmackDown Next Week –

WWE started a new feud between The Street Profits and Alpha Academy during this week’s SmackDown episode.

It has been announced that the feud will continue on Friday night as Otis and Chad Gable take on Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins in tag team action.

This week’s SmackDown saw Gable approach the Profits behind the scenes and offer to be their manager, wanting to help them out like he did with Otis. Ford and Dawkins laughed at Gable and turned him down.

Otis then approached Ford and Dawkins, wondering how they had treated Gable in the previous segment. They laughed at Otis and pointed out that Gable wasn’t really helping him. They suggested Otis leave the Academy and get a refund. Otis responded by dropping Ford all at once, then knocking down Dawkins in a production case, knocking him down. Otis left as the Profits attempted to recover from the ground.

WWE then aired a third behind-the-scenes segment with The Street Profits. Ford and Dawkins said they tried to give Otis good advice, but he didn’t take it, while Gable was the one who disrespected him in the first place. They then said they would send Otis back to the landfill where he belongs and send Gable with them. Ford and Dawkins ended this segment by stating that they were ready and wanted some smoke.

WWE then announced The Street Profits against Alpha Academy for next Friday’s SmackDown on FOX episode.

Gable tweeted after the show and commented on Otis’ loyalty.

“Faithful. Reliable. A Proven Alpha. He’s my guy. My # 1 guy. #AlphaAcademy #ForTheAcademy #Smackdown,” Gable wrote.
