Starting Thursday, July 30, shoppers can now order beer and wine for delivery to Lowes Foods and Target through the Shipping application.

Shipt customers must be 21 years of age or older to order alcohol. Shipt buyers are encouraged to make contactless deliveries, but alcohol deliveries always require a customer to present valid ID upon order delivery.

Cities with access to same-day alcohol delivery from Lowes Foods and Target include:

Chapel Hill

Clayton

Durham

Collect

Holly springs

Knightdale

Raleigh

Price

Shipping offers an annual or monthly subscription or you can get a one-time delivery without a subscription.

Customers have the option of paying by delivery with a one-time fee and without obligation or commitment. To try a one-time Shipt Pass delivery for $ 10.

An annual Shipt subscription is $ 99 per year and a monthly subscription is $ 14 per month.

Shipt offers free shipping for orders over $ 35. Orders under $ 35 have a flat shipping charge of $ 7 added to your total to cover the costs of picking up, packing and handling. A delivery charge of $ 7 may be applied to alcohol orders at certain retailers.
