Sony Alpha ZV-E10 becomes official in India with a starting price of Rs. 59,490

Sony Alpha ZV-E10 has hit store shelves in India, delivering vlogger-centric features for a superior vlogging experience. The recently unveiled portable mirrorless camera is designed for content creators. This is an improved version of Sony’s first camera. Marketing material for the company’s original camera suggested it was developed to meet the needs of video creators.

The market is full of all kinds of camera options for recording various forms of content. These contents are ideally created for uploading to social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Many passionate content creators believe that even flagship smartphones aren’t good enough at creating their content. This is exactly where the feature-laden Sony Alpha ZV-E10 camera comes in.

Sony ZV-E10 launched in India

On September 21, Sony India unveiled its highly portable mirrorless camera. The camera body will set you back 59,490 INR (around $ 808). The camera with lens, meanwhile, costs INR 69,990, which works out to around $ 951. In a press release (via Digit), Sony India’s head of digital imaging business Mukesh Srivastava said the new interchangeable lens camera is able to meet the growing needs of modern designers.

Main characteristics

On top of that, the Sony Alpha ZV-E10 features a BIONZ X image processing engine and houses a 24.2 MP APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor. It helps content creators to generate high quality images. Apart from that, they produce awesome natural bokeh, highly detailed texture representation, and high sensitivity. As if that wasn’t enough, it offers a host of cutting edge video features. For example, the camera supports 4K video shooting through full pixel readout without pixel clustering.

In addition, it guarantees movements at different speeds with Full HD recording at 12 frames per second. At a time, the camera can effortlessly capture eleven shots per second for approximately 116 images taken in JPEG format. It comes in a lightweight form and adopts video-oriented design. The Sony Alpha ZV-E10 variable-angle LCD screen opens to the side so creators can connect microphones on the top.

Other notable features include a Still / Movie / Slow button. On top of that, it comes with a quick motion button on the top to switch between different shooting modes. The Alpha ZV-E10 offers long battery life. You can capture approximately 440 images or 125 minutes with a full charge. In addition, there is a USB Type-C port for charging. The camera can use external batteries for juice.
