JDL received the award for its Project BRIDGE: Building Relationships in Diverse Generational Experiences program. The BRIDGE project helps improve traditional community services with creative programs tailored to the needs of older people, especially those with memory loss or dementia.
“We’ve done a lot of community engagement over the past few years,” said JDL Director Sara Tackett. “We will use the money to continue doing this work in this area.”
The money will be used for community engagement programs and initiatives, Tackett said.
