Dragon Age 4 Alpha may have leaked

If we are to believe a new leak, an alpha version for Dragon Age 4 could arrive on PlayStation next month. The leak comes from the unofficial PlayStation Game Size Twitter account, which quickly pointed out that an alpha had not been added to the database, but they believe “a test version is coming.” This will apparently happen ahead of the July EA Play Live event, which is set to begin on July 22. As with any rumor, readers are advised to take all of this with a grain of salt until something official is revealed by EA or PlayStation.

The Tweet from the PlayStation Game Size account is embedded below.

Developed by BioWare and published by EA, Dragon Age 4 currently has no release date. EA Play Live would be the perfect place to reveal more about Dragon Age 4, but Electronic Arts has not given any information on which games will appear at the showcase. An alpha for a single-player RPG looks a bit unusual, but like wccftech points out that this could be an internal version intended only for employees of EA and BioWare. At the moment, it’s a little hard to say for sure.

It doesn’t matter who or what it is for, it could bode well for some sort of announcement. Very few concrete details have been revealed about Dragon Age 4, and fans are understandably eager to learn more. With EA Play Live arriving in just under a month, we may have some new information about the game soon!

Dragon Age 4 is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC. You can check out our previous coverage of the game here.
