New RAW Tag Tag Team Champion Chad Gable took to Twitter today and released a statement on how he won gold with his best friend this week.
Monday’s WWE RAW saw Gable and Otis win the RAW Tag Team titles from Randy Orton and Riddle, just a week after defeating RK-Bro in an untitled fight.
Gable posted photos of him and Otis today and revealed how they talked about a night like last night since they trained together for the Olympics in Colorado Springs in 2011. Gable said the relationship with the Alpha Academy is more than a team, it is a fraternity.
Gable also revealed how Otis came to be his neighbor and how they’ve trained together almost every day since then. You can see his full statement with photos below.

Gable spoke about his partner and how they trained specifically for Orton, and specifically for any team they were up against. Gable then said they were unbeatable when they applied his tactics. Otis sent a warning to the rest of the tag team division.
“Bring them all,” Otis said when Patrick pointed out how the tag team division is stacked. “Like I said – 2022, anything that comes from Alpha Academy is pure carnage. Bring it on.”

Otis and I were talking about a night like last night since we trained together for the Olympics in Colorado Springs in 2011.
The Alpha Academy relationship is more than just a team. It has been a brotherhood for over 10 years.
After being called to RAW, I jokingly told Otis that there was a house for sale down the street for me if he wanted to move in. A few days later he told me he had made an offer and would be there in a few weeks.
Since then he’s been here almost every day to leave us sweaty puddles in my garage during some of the toughest workouts you can imagine, all with the goal of continuously progressing in this profession and in the world. life. I couldn’t be happier or more proud of this man.
My protege. My student appreciated. My guy # 1. Most importantly, my friend.
