Call of Duty Vanguard may be a few months away from launch, but fans can play it early and for free later this week – and without pre-orders.
Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha will be available exclusively for PS5 and PS4 users starting August 27 at 6 p.m. BST.
The news was announced by Activision on the PlayStation Blog: “This PlayStation exclusive Alpha is not only the first chance to play the new multiplayer mode of the Call of Duty franchise, but also the first chance to play Call of Duty. : Vanguard ahead of its November 5 release.

You don’t need to pre-order the game to access the free Alpha, or a PlayStation Plus membership to play.
As an added bonus, if Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, or Warzone is installed on your PlayStation, you can access the Alpha directly from the main menu of the in-game screen.
