2021-22 Alpha Pi award-winning officers were installed at the November meeting at the Westfield YWCA. Alpha Pi Fellow Installs Officers and Promotes Members Led by President Carol Reynolds, members of the local Beta Sigma Phi Sisterhood Chapter, the Alpha Pi Fellow, held a meeting on November 15, 2021 at the Westfield YWCA. Eight sisters were present. A business meeting was held to start the evening. Following the business meeting, rituals were performed to include the installation of officers for the year 2021-22, membership promotion, and a Thanksgiving social event. A program on Thanksgiving Gratitude and Traditions was hosted by Tonja Dodd while the ladies enjoyed refreshments, hosted by Laura Ondreako. The officers who were sworn in for the membership year included Ms. Reynolds as well as Gwen Haskin, vice-president, Clara Winkelman, treasurer, Carol Best, assistant treasurer, Lynn Stetson, meeting secretary and Judy Stratton, acting secretary. Additionally, Lynn Stetson will lead the Ways and Means Committee, Elena Marsala the Services Committee, Tonja Dodd, Linda Bennett’s Advertising and Sun & Giveaways activities. A ritual ceremony was performed to recognize Amy Begier, Carol Best and Lynn Stetson who were promoted to the rank of Laureate while Sisters Tonja Dodd and Laura Ondreako were promoted to the rank of Preceptor. The sisters received a rose and badge for their years of active membership and commitment to the sisterhood. A Christmas social event will be held in December for members, their families and guests, hosted by Gwen Haskin and Elena Marsala.
